Jeep Cherokee KJ Liberty 02-07

The KJ series was born in 2002, known as the KJ Liberty in the US market and the Cherokee KJ for the European market.

Independent front suspension is seen for the first time, this time with coil springs at both the front and rear for greater ride comfort.
At the rear, we find a rigid axle with lower struts and an upper wishbone.

The front axle remains a Dana 30 while the rear adopts a Chrysler 8.25, the rarer Dana 35.

Engine options include 2 diesel versions, a 2.5 and 2.8 VM, or a 2.4 4-cylinder and 3.7 V6, both petrol.
